Yet nothing predestined it for such acclaim. Initially, La Petite Robe Noire was created by Delphine Jelk in 2009. It was designed solely for Guerlain’s Champs-Élysées boutique. However, the house quickly noticed a certain enthusiasm from women toward it. From then on, it asked Thierry Wasser, the house’s exclusive perfumer, to reinterpret it with a view to expanding its distribution worldwide. The success we now know followed. This is how Guerlain decided to reveal, one after another, several faces of its seductive silhouette drawn in India ink. From then on, La Petite Robe Noire became an Eau de Toilette, in 2013.

La Petite Robe Noire Eau de Toilette is a fragrance more airy than in its previous concentration. It is a juice akin to an invisible dress, twirling with the wind. Its packaging has, moreover, been slightly modified to reflect this. La Petite Robe Noire now takes the form of a more low-cut, fresher dress. One can easily imagine it stitched from lace. La Petite Robe Noire Eau de Toilette exudes an absolute femininity characterized by a blend of fresh, sparkling and fruity flavors. La Petite Robe Noire Eau de Toilette is lighter than ever, accompanied by transparent jasmine, apple and blackcurrant. Nevertheless, it should be noted that its base remains warm, catching fire on contact with white amber and patchouli. The result is a floral, sparkling and musky fragrance.
