Composition

Leather, incense and olibanum

The heart combines four notes. The leather carries accents of smoke, tar, and tobacco. The incense evokes camphor, wax, and spices. Olibanum, the resin from which incense is drawn, is described through wood, mineral, and a spicy touch. The woods add softness and creaminess.

A base of oud

In the base, oud, drawn from agarwood, a resin formed in the tree in reaction to an infection, brings forth a woody material with animalic nuances, with an echo of incense that recalls the resins of the heart.

An oriental family

The oriental family usually gathers resins, dark woods, and animalic or smoky notes. Here, the incense and olibanum bring the resinous part, the leather its smoke and tar, the oud its woody, animalic warmth.
