This line met with great success and the house quickly achieved international recognition. In 2013, Givenchy unveiled Gentleman Only, a small revolution in masculine perfumery that nonetheless echoed Givenchy Gentleman, released in 1975. In 2014, the house decided to revisit this fragrance in a much more intense version, Gentleman Only Intense.

The elegant man according to Givenchy

The Givenchy gentleman is an elegant man, no doubt about it. He nonetheless possesses a little something extra, much like his ambassador, the highly charismatic Simon Baker, star of the American series The Mentalist. In fact, the Givenchy gentleman is a reinterpretation of Givenchy Gentleman from 1975. With Gentleman Only, Givenchy created something like a select, informal club — that of gentlemen. Courteous yet impertinent, the Givenchy man prides himself on being elegant in every circumstance. While the new version, Gentleman Only Intense, is just as irresistible, it is nonetheless more intense, more charismatic. This flanker is aimed at carefree men who love to seduce. The virility of the man reaches its peak here, and the Gentleman Only Intense man displays unmatched courtesy. Gentleman Only Intense is very deep and extremely sensual.

The oriental and spicy notes of Gentleman Only Intense

Gentleman Only Intense presents a rather complex structure with its oriental, spicy and leathery accords, bold to say the least. Gentleman Only Intense opens with mandarin and its invigorating notes. This is paired with spicy tonalities such as birch and pepper. The heart is composed of a leathery accord skillfully combined with cedarwood and patchouli. The base is meant to be ultra sensual, with the presence of amber and incense. Intense as it is, the base is then softened by tonka bean. As for the bottle, it resembles its predecessor. It is nonetheless ultra elegant, reflecting the composition. It is dressed in a gradient running from black to blue. The glass stands out considerably, giving the bottle a more intense, more virile look, echoing its juice. As for the ambassador Simon Baker, he is charismatic to the utmost, and no woman could say he does not fit the part of a gentleman. He displays natural charm both in the advertising clips and in The Mentalist, and he is always ready to come to the aid of charming young ladies...

A year after Gentleman Only, Givenchy presented its new flanker, Gentleman Only Intense. Highly charismatic, the composition of Gentleman Only Intense is bolder than that of its predecessor. Thanks to Simon Baker, no one will be able to resist Gentleman Only Intense.
