This was characterized by a quest for serenity combined with a desire for transmission. It is in this spirit that Guerlain created its fragrance Héritage. This one aims to draw its source from the rich past of the house while offering the image of a man resolutely turned toward the future. Thus, Héritage appears as a sort of temporal bridge linking the men of yesterday to those of today. In other words, Héritage is a fragrance that aims to be passed down from generation to generation, perpetuating past traditions while enriching them with constant evolutions. Furthermore, it should be noted that this juice was created by the last descendant perfumer of the house of Guerlain, the talented Jean-Paul Guerlain. Indeed, he has now handed over his position to Thierry Wasser, an extremely talented perfumer but not descended from the Guerlain family line. Héritage thus marks, in a sense, the passing of the torch from Jean-Paul Guerlain to his worthy successor. The timeless flavor of the fragrance Héritage

Héritage is a juice with multiple facets, as if all the knowledge accumulated in perfumery had to emerge through it. It is at once fresh, woody and spicy, past and present, noble and casual. Héritage possesses multiple contrasts and even draws its richness from them to form a perfect accord. Héritage opens with top notes of extravagant freshness. Its invigorating brightness comes from a duo of bergamot and lemon. At this moment, one of the most emblematic aromatic materials in masculine perfumery makes its appearance: lavender. This is then followed by a spicier heart containing pepper and coriander. Thus, the Guerlain man seems never to lack boldness and character. He then asserts his virility in the sillage of this fragrance. Héritage concludes with a richer, woodier accord combining cedar and patchouli while enhancing them with a more sensual leather note. What is more, the famous Guerlinade is also present and closes this essence with sweetness in wafts of vanilla and tonka bean.
