The Gucci woman is a heroine of modern times, carrying within her a weighty heritage combined with an unrivaled sense of impertinence. Far from stereotypes, she seduces as much through her sharp wit as through her elegance and rebellious spirit. Thus, to honor all these elements, the house presents a new essence. Flora Gorgeous Gardenia Eau de Parfum was created to celebrate the house's hundredth anniversary. So, is it worthy of such an event? Here is our review.

Flora Gorgeous Gardenia Eau de Parfum, a celebration of femininity
Flora Gorgeous Gardenia Eau de Parfum is an entirely new creation. Nevertheless, it is a fragrance that joins a collection initiated much earlier, in 2012: Flora Garden. At that time, the house's artistic director, Frida Giannini, explained that she wished, through this collection, to express the beauty of woman, her romanticism, her charm, her optimism. The Flora Garden collection celebrates, she continued, the different ways in which the Gucci woman expresses her personality. More than ever, Gucci celebrates the diversity of femininity through a wonderful bouquet.
Gucci enlists a prime face of the campaign
To celebrate its anniversary in grand style, Gucci also decided to surround itself with several renowned protagonists. For the advertising campaign of Flora Gorgeous Gardenia Eau de Parfum, Gucci asked director Petra Collins to recreate an emblematic world of Japanese pop culture where abundance reigns. What's more, she brought in one of the most famous rock stars on the planet: Miley Cyrus. Thanks to her, Gucci's floral world gains in impertinence. The mix of genres becomes only more fascinating!
A bottle that celebrates Gucci's history
As for the bottle, Flora Gorgeous Gardenia Eau de Parfum comes in a container never before seen on Gucci's shelves. Even so, it reclaims the house's emblematic Flora motif, resembling a painting of flowers. As a reminder, this was created for the very first time in 1966 by the artist Vittorio Accornero. The bottle of Flora Gorgeous Gardenia Eau de Parfum by Gucci thus offers us a dive into the house's heritage. This motif appears on a label set against pink glass. Another distinctive feature, this case is topped with a shimmering gold cap. The result is a very luxurious bottle!
The floral, sun-kissed breath of Flora Gorgeous Gardenia Eau de Parfum
Finally, as for the scent, Flora Gorgeous Gardenia Eau de Parfum delivers on all its promises. It captivates with its spellbinding breath of gardenia, resembling a true elixir. Narcotic and springlike, this is illuminated by jasmine, more sun-kissed and opulent. The whole becomes more sparkling with the presence of pear blossom. Finally, everything rests on a delicate woody sillage of patchouli, paired with all the gourmand richness of brown sugar.
