Floratta Red Passion

Floratta Red Passion is the eau de parfum of the Red line, which the Brazilian house O Boticário presented in February 2025 in a 75 ml bottle, alongside a scented body cream. The house bills it as the most intense version of Floratta Red, one of its flagship women’s fragrances.

Floratta Red, the original version, is a desodorante colônia, the light cologne typical of Brazilian perfumery, which the house classes among fruity florientals. The house built it around the Vermont apple, a fruit with greenish skin and reddened flesh that it nicknames the apple of secret love.

The Floratta line, which the house says it created in 1995, was celebrating its thirtieth anniversary in the year Floratta Red Passion was launched. O Boticário presents it as the most widespread women’s fragrance brand in Brazilian households.

A version born from listening

According to the house, Floratta Red Passion grew out of an analysis of more than 50,000 comments from consumers, carried out by a specialized platform that relies on artificial intelligence. Fernanda Marques, director of women’s fragrances at Grupo Boticário, drew from it a more intense and more elegant version of Floratta Red.

César Veiga, a perfumer at Grupo Boticário, describes it as a true olfactory bomb, pointing out that a fragrance’s intensity does not depend on its concentration alone. The house, however, names no creator for the formula.
