The house lists fresh notes on top, orange blossom and vetiver in the heart, and vanilla and a solar note in the base. Osmoz describes a soft, spicy orange blossom, a round, sweet vanilla and a woody vetiver with nothing earthy about it.

Osmoz attributes the freshness to aldehydes and a salicylate solar note; the vetiver counterbalances the flower and the vanilla, for a frosted, masculine floral oriental.

What the critics smell

Elena Vosnaki detects a fresh woody oriental, piquant aldehydic touches, a light vanilla and delicate synthetic musks; the vetiver, usually earthy, does not come to the fore. Its synthetic orange blossom reminds her of Pure Poison.

Kevin of Now Smell This perceives an ozonic opening, a fleeting powdery-sweet note, and a lasting note that recalls by turns clove chewing gum and melon; he wonders whether it is the solar note.

What stays out

Iris, rose and violet, attributed to the fragrance by several online pyramids, do not appear in Dior’s description. No ingredient list for Fahrenheit 32 could be found.
