Fahrenheit 32

Dior launched Fahrenheit 32 in 2007 under the artistic direction of Hedi Slimane: a fresh oriental composed by Louise Turner with François Demachy, which keeps nothing of the 1988 original but the shape of the bottle. Orange blossom, vetiver and vanilla are brightened with aldehydes and a solar note, in a bottle turned frosted white.

The curved Fahrenheit bottle, turned from red to frosted white with crystalline shades, in a metallic gray box.

Fahrenheit 32 keeps the curved silhouette of the Fahrenheit bottle, the only thing it shares with the original according to Now Smell This. The red bottle of 1988 turns white and frosted here, in crystalline shades, and Dior houses it in a metallic gray box.

Elena Vosnaki sees in this white bottle the promise of a misty freshness, as if the classic design had gone on a techno trip under strobe lights. Kevin of Now Smell This notes that the name, packaging and advertising proclaim coolness, while the materials remain rather warm.
