Viktor & Rolf understood this well and thus offered, in 2014, the most gourmand fragrance there is. It is called Bonbon and very quickly became a cult reference of the Viktor & Rolf house.
Mandarin, tangy and sparkling, aldehydes, orangey and waxy, and lemon, fresh and acidic, open the composition; mandarin and lemon meet on acidity, which the aldehydes do not evoke.
Orange blossom, waxy and sweet, peach, velvety and nectarous, and jasmine, sweet and warm, form the heart: sugar draws orange blossom closer to jasmine, while peach remains apart from this link.
Patchouli, earthy and damp, vanilla, warm and spicy, and sandalwood, warm and woody, occupy the base; warmth unites vanilla and sandalwood, while patchouli retains a damper tonality.
