Black Opium Pink Glaze

Yves Saint Laurent launched Black Opium Pink Glaze in 2026, an eau de parfum that tints the coffee-floral accord of the Black Opium line with strawberry. The house pairs a naturally extracted strawberry with jasmine from its Ourika gardens, over a base of vanilla, coffee and amber woods. Its bottle turns lacquered pink, around a black core.

Yves Saint Laurent describes Pink Glaze as a fruity, gourmand floral, a strawberry reinterpretation of Black Opium’s coffee-floral accord. The house places it between Over Red, built around cherry, and Le Parfum, built on vanilla.

Top

Strawberry opens the fragrance; the house says it is 100% naturally extracted, juicy and sensual. A green mandarin super-essence and a bergamot essence accompany it and give it a zesty start.

Heart

The jasmine comes from the YSL Ourika Community Gardens in Morocco, which the house highlights. An orange blossom absolute accompanies it and extends the floral note.

Base

The base takes up the line’s signature: a coffee accord, a vanilla absolute, a benzoin resin, a woody amber accord and patchouli. The house sees in it a floral coffee wrapped in a vibrant base of amber woods.

What the label declares

Right behind alcohol, fragrance and water comes a synthetic woody molecule, tetramethyl acetyloctahydronaphthalenes, known under the trade name Iso E Super. The list also includes vanillin, bergamot oil, patchouli oil and neroli oil.

An ultraviolet filter, avobenzone, and a stabilizer protect the juice, which two colorants tint: violet CI 60730 and red CI 14700. The list also names a series of allergens that must be declared, including geraniol, coumarin, hydroxycitronellal and linalool.
