Mandarine Fraîche
Mandarine Fraîche: The new fragrance from Réminiscence Réminiscence is a house whose very name alone is enough to make one travel. Indeed, since its founding in the 1970s, the house has placed emphasis on escapism and draws its creative ideas from faraway lands.

Where to buy
Very often, Réminiscence fragrances are synonymous with sweetness, warmth and roundness. Yet, this time, the house has decided to explore an entirely different register. Réminiscence presents its fragrance Mandarine Fraiche, more Mediterranean and above all much fresher than usual. So what about this unisex fragrance, which amplifies all the freshness and energy of citrus? Here is everything you need to know!
Mandarine Fraiche, an ingredient enhanced by other raw materials
Mandarine Fraiche is a fragrance clearly dominated by mandarin, as its name immediately suggests. However, contrary to what one might think, mandarin is not the sole ingredient of this fragrance. Here, Réminiscence sets out to enhance it by employing other raw materials kept in the background, used in service of the mandarin to give it more subtlety.
At first, zesty citrus notes dominate. The mandarin, gourmand and tangy, is paired with a lime that is more bitter but equally energizing. To amplify the natural vigor of the mandarin, Réminiscence adds pink pepper here, a warmer and more incandescent spice. The bite of these top notes is then carried on by a more aromatic heart based on lemony verbena. Mandarine Fraiche is also brightened with white tea, for a more radiant and refined effect. Réminiscence then decides to incorporate white musk into its recipe. Thus, the Mandarine Fraiche fragrance leaves behind a sensation of cleanliness and purity, like that of a white shirt freshly ironed on bare skin. The whole is rounded off with a floral, powdery breath of iris, an ingredient counted among the noblest raw materials in the entire perfumer's palette.
Mandarine Fraiche, a fragrance from Réminiscence's Classiques collection
Mandarine Fraiche comes in a bottle devoid of any superfluous detail. Its bottle forms a thick rectangle of clear glass, whose heavy walls speak volumes about its refinement. With no color at all, Mandarine Fraiche goes to the essential and relies on purity. A cube caps the whole and protects its spray bottle. A simple gray label displays its name on the front. No one could then guess an age or a gender for this fragrance. In reality, this visual is far from a first for the Réminiscence house. This bottle is part of Réminiscence's Classiques collection. Thus, Mandarine Fraiche follows on from the previous Vanille, Patchouli or Fève Tonka by Réminiscence. Each of these fragrances displays a strong-willed character and places a single raw material at the center of its recipe, while enhancing it with other elements. This time, however, for the very first time, freshness dominates, whereas Réminiscence had until now accustomed us to more roundness and exoticism.
