Hugo Element

It was in 2009 that the Hugo Element fragrance made its appearance. This scent for men is aimed at an urban youth. Thus, while Hugo Boss most often has us venture into the world of business, this time it is a more urban atmosphere that comes into play, set between skyscrapers, asphalt and traffic.

Where to buy

With it, the city resounds like a beating heart. Moreover, it is not without reason that Hugo Element is enclosed in an oxygen bottle. This gives the man who wears it a genuine breath of fresh air on a daily basis.

When the city becomes Hugo Boss’s source of inspiration

Many people perceive the urban environment in its most negative light. Indeed, asphalt, traffic, buildings and pollution are all elements associated with everyday grayness and gloom. Yet the Hugo Boss man has decided to see the world through new eyes. He seems to draw his oxygen from an urban world. Hugo Element is the fragrance of a city dweller who would not trade his place in the city for anything in the world. He feels at home there and needs neither map nor compass to get around. The Hugo Boss man then loves to lose himself in the crowd. He is comfortable in his body, comfortable in his time and comfortable in his sneakers. Indeed, Hugo Element is far removed from the overly sophisticated fragrances signed Hugo Boss. It displays a more relaxed and resolutely contemporary look. Yet it remains nonetheless very elegant and simply seems to live with its time. Its charm then works instantly. It is almost instinctive, and it is therefore impossible to resist. Hugo Element has made the city its greatest driving force. It has managed to capture all its vibrations to deliver a truly tempting fragrance.

The fresh and vibrant explosion of Hugo Element

The idea of working around the urban theme came from perfumer Nathalie Feisthauer. She opted for a fresh, explosive and masculine fragrance, drawing us into the depths of the city. Moreover, if she chose to name her fragrance this way, it is simply because it seems to bring together, on its own, the four elements, namely water, earth, air and fire. It first delivers a marine freshness emanating from calone, a molecule known for its aquatic quality. Then, its airy freshness is reinforced by the presence of lemon and bitter orange. Its more aromatic and spicy heart then ignites like a blazing fire. It contains ginger, black pepper and coriander leaves. Thus, Hugo Element does not lack character and displays here its full power. Its base, meanwhile, is darker, earthy and woody. It is notably rich in cedar, vetiver and incense. Hugo Element is then housed in a resolutely contemporary bottle. It resembles a sleek oxygen bottle. It combines glass and metal, reflecting light through the slightly bluish transparency of its walls.
