Y Eau de Toilette by Yves Saint Laurent is the masculine fougère that opened the Y range in 2017, composed by Dominique Ropion and crowned best new men's fragrance at the FiFi Awards 2018. Rewritten in 2022 in a blue juice, it pits lavender and clary sage from Provence against a Madagascar geranium, over a base of ambergris, incense and cedar.
A block of clear glass with square shoulders, designed by Suzanne Dalton and notched with a silver Y; intense blue juice, black cap, in 60 and 100 ml.
The Y bottle is the work of British designer Suzanne Dalton, who signs every bottle in the range. A rectangular block of glass with square shoulders, clear as crystalline water, into which a notch shaped like a Y, underlined in silver, appears to have been cut.
For the eau de toilette, the glass reveals a juice of intense blue, which the house associates with freshness and infinite possibilities. The 2018 eau de parfum reprises it in a midnight-blue gradient. The black cap completes an object that Yves Saint Laurent describes as a jewel with a rock-and-roll air.
Yves Saint Laurent offers it in 60 ml at €89 and in 100 ml at €125 on its online store, without a refill. This bottle had earned Y, in 2018, the FiFi Award for the most beautiful bottle of a men's fragrance.
