Terra di Gioia, a new fragrance in a vast collection
Before anything else, let us set the scene: Terra di Gioia by Giorgio Armani is indeed a new fragrance. However, it belongs to a wide collection, launched much earlier, in 2010. It all began with the creation of the feminine fragrance Acqua di Gioia, between earth and sea. This fragrance already drew inspiration from the Mediterranean region, delivering an intense and universal freshness. Then, as if to make women want to reconnect with the heart of natural elements, Giorgio Armani decided to expand this saga with two new fragrances: Air di Gioia and Sun di Gioia, air and sun. In 2016, it was Sky di Gioia's turn to evoke the sky, followed by Light di Gioia for light. Once again, the story repeats itself. As its name suggests, Terra di Gioia draws its source from the earth. Here, it is rather a matter of terracotta and ochre earth, such as that frequently found in the Mediterranean. Far more than a simple fragrance, this creation is an invitation to refocus on one's true nature. It is a concentrate of sunshine and optimism.
All the beauty of a landscape turned into fragrance
Terra di Gioia by Giorgio Armani is a fragrance conceived like a painting. This fragrance for women delivers a true landscape. If it had to match the image of a postcard, it would be immense dunes mingled with ochre rocks, their color contrasting with the blue of the Mediterranean Sea. But how does Giorgio Armani manage to transform this into fragrance? It all begins with a blend of almond blossom and pear. This luminous, juicy breath is paired with citrus. Then, bergamot and mandarin pave the way to a more jasmine-driven heart. Here again, Giorgio Armani spared no effort. To preserve all the intensity of its jasmine, the house extracts it in a unique way. To this is added a more amber and musky base, giving the whole a sillage as soft as an infinite caress.
Terra di Gioia by Giorgio Armani comes in a bottle that is as simple as it is appealing. To evoke all the splendor of nature, this glass bottle is free of any ornamentation. Like a pebble, this glass case is tinted an orange hue, like terracotta. This preserves a perfect coherence between the design of this fragrance and its scent. The whole is further topped with a small cap resembling a precious stone in its raw state.
