Since then the house has made a name for itself both in the creation of exceptional perfume raw materials and in the creation of beautiful compositions. In 2016 the beautiful Figue, a spirited sun-drenched fragrance, once again opens the doors to the wonderful world of Molinard's splendors.

The Molinard perfumer and the fruit of her childhood: Figue

In 2015, Célia Lerouge Bénard became the CEO of Molinard, the fifth descendant in the genealogical line of the famous Albert Sittler who bought the small Molinard boutique in Grasse in 1894 for… 5,000 francs! This CEO, who wanted both to preserve Molinard's values and traditions and to modernize its range of fragrances, launched a new collection of fragrances simply named: Les Eléments.

The first fragrances in Molinard's Les Eléments range were named Jasmin, Rose, Vanille, and Patchouli. Figue, a brilliant tribute to the sun-drenched Mediterranean roots of Molinard's new head, joined the collection in 2016 alongside other appealing new fragrances.

The lovely Figue was built around gourmand accords of the fruit but also beautiful woody notes and pretty floral notes, born in Grasse of course. Célia Lerouge Bernard described Figue in these terms: Fruit of my childhood, concentrated sunshine, the one that rhymes with summer, eaten as soon as it is picked. Gourmand, with tender, sweet flesh, its color unveils carnal pleasure…

One should therefore beware of this tender sweetness which, in a floral ray of sunshine, could well turn into a sensual and terribly addictive juice.

The “garden of a thousand colors” of Figue by Molinard

The magnificent Figue bottle carries the beautiful colors of Molinard while taking on a vivid purple tint that perfectly matches the colors of the visual for this new fragrance. Note the delicate copper details around the cap, which of course recall the famous stills of the Molinard master perfumer.

The opening of this beautiful Molinard fig fragrance is meant to be dynamic and sparkling, thanks to citrus notes of lemon, tinted with a fruity and intense blackcurrant that blends for better and for better with a creamy fig. In the heart, fig reappears in the form of leaves to bring its fresh, green power to precious floral notes, magnified by sambac jasmine. The depths of a bracing cedar meet the beautiful sensuality of musk and amber wood.

Taste the delights of the fleshy fruit, drenched in sunshine. A gourmand fig heart is revealed on a fig leaf, green and sparkling. A sensual and addictive sillage that plunges you into the sweetness of Mediterranean living. Molinard for Figue.
