Since 1858, the house of Boucheron has made women's eyes sparkle by crafting sumptuous jewelry. As the oldest jewelry house on Place Vendôme, Boucheron is an icon of French craftsmanship. The house also distinguishes itself in the field of perfumery.
Since its founding in 1858, the house of Boucheron has never ceased to dazzle, both through its jewelry creations and its perfumes. Renowned worldwide for its boldness and impeccable craftsmanship, Boucheron has won the hearts of women by always offering creative pieces made from the finest raw materials. Once again, in 2020, Boucheron set out to make women's hearts race. To this end, the Parisian house presents them with a new fragrance. Named Serpent Bohème, it echoes a jewelry collection of the same name. So, does it truly live up to that jewelry-inspired ensemble? Here is our review of this fragrance.

Serpent Bohème, a floral fragrance made from carefully selected raw materials
Let us start with the composition of this fragrance itself. Like many feminine fragrances, Serpent Bohème relies on flowers to reveal its romanticism and sensuality. Indeed, Serpent Bohème revisits the most famous duo in perfumery: the pairing of rose and jasmine. So, how does it manage to surprise us while relying on these great classics so widely used by perfumers? Serpent Bohème contains several rose varieties. It blends the fairly conventional Turkish rose with the much more surprising and less commonly used Mallow desert rose. Together, these two flowers give rise to a blend that is gourmand, voluptuous, refreshing and luminous. Sambac jasmine, for its part, enhances the fragrance's sun-kissed quality, while mandarin and blackcurrant lighten the whole. Little by little, Serpent Bohème settles into a more sultry, powerful base. Its base notes bring together white musk, sandalwood, patchouli and cistus labdanum. The result is a true explosion of color!
Boucheron's Serpent Bohème, a timeless fragrance
It should also be noted that Boucheron's Serpent Bohème speaks to all generations alike. Indeed, it draws inspiration from a Boucheron jewelry collection, immersing us in the brand's heritage and echoing its emblematic animal: the snake. Yet it also looks toward the future and fully suits today's women, more liberated than ever. A symbol of boldness and power, it is designed for free, self-assured personalities. On screen, this image is embodied by Joséphine le Tutour, a model of international renown. In the campaign for Serpent Bohème, the young woman appears wearing a white blouse, partly open to reveal Boucheron's Serpent Bohème necklace.
The Serpent Bohème bottle, a true jewel
Finally, as if all these elements were not enough to win our hearts, Boucheron chose to add an absolutely splendid bottle. Highly refined and elegant, it once again reveals Boucheron's expertise in aesthetics. Covered in snake scales, it relies on a golden hue to underscore its natural elegance. A satin cord is fixed at the neck like a necklace. The whole is presented in a sublime cardboard box covered in white-and-gold embossed paper, which likewise depicts scales.
