The men's webzine Trucs de mec, under its collective byline, expected a clear-cut leather and vetiver and did not find them: apart from clary sage, the announced facets remain imperceptible to it. It describes a pleasant, aromatic and gently spicy opening, but a flat, one-dimensional development.
The fragrance strongly reminds it of Le Parfum from 2022, which it judges more accomplished and more generous, as if the Intense had been deliberately toned down. Moderate sillage and merely adequate longevity given the promised intensity, it concludes, recommending Scandal pour Homme Absolu instead to discover the line.
