Paradoxe Sweet Chemistry is an eau de parfum by Prada released in 2026, composed by Nadège Le Garlantezec, Shyamala Maisondieu and Antoine Maisondieu. Floral and fruity, it opens on a blackcurrant syrup accord, lets orange blossom absolute shine in the heart and closes on a neroli milk accord, in the line’s refillable bottle, lacquered in a pinkish purple.
Prada describes a fruity floral that rethinks sweetness: a fruity accord, a luminous flower and a milky accord answer one another, between gourmand indulgence and sophistication. The house adds that the fragrance only reveals itself through the chemistry specific to each skin, hence its name.
Blackcurrant, orange blossom, neroli milk
At the top, a blackcurrant syrup accord brings a fruity, addictive sweetness. In the heart, orange blossom absolute gives floral radiance. In the base, neroli, a signature material of Paradoxe, is wrapped in a creamy, milky accord that the house calls neroli milk.
The notes are arranged here as follows: blackcurrant at the top; orange blossom in the heart; neroli in the base. Blackcurrant syrup and neroli milk are accords reconstructed by the perfumers; the notes keep the fruit and the flower that give them their name.
Within the Paradoxe line
In 2022, Paradoxe already brought together neroli and orange blossom in a floral amber. Sweet Chemistry keeps this duo and pulls it toward fruit and gourmand sweetness, where Paradoxe Intense and Paradoxe Radical Essence had taken the path of a woody floral amber.
What the label declares
Alcohol, fragrance and water open the list, ahead of diisopropyl sebacate, a solvent, and a woody amber molecule. Methyl anthranilate, with its orange blossom accents, appears ahead of a stabilizer, a UV filter, an antioxidant and two colorants, one red, the other violet.
Further down come linalool and its acetate, geraniol and its acetate, rose ketones, vanillin, Virginia cedarwood oil, coumarin and farnesol. Bergamot peel oil and orange blossom oil, acetyl cedrene, carvone and benzaldehyde nearly close the list.
