The Most Wanted Eau de Parfum Intense

Azzaro places The Most Wanted among woody oriental fougères and builds it on just three notes, which the house spreads across dawn, zenith and dusk: cardamom, a melting caramel accord and amber woods. It publishes no others.

Cardamom opens the fragrance. Azzaro wants it vibrant and entrusts it with the top: at the start it gives a fresh, spicy, slightly camphoraceous relief, before the sweetness of the caramel takes over.

Heart

A melting caramel accord holds the heart; the house’s English texts call it toffee, a butter caramel. An accord combines several materials to imitate a scent that no natural extract provides: here it brings the gourmand note that gives the fragrance its sweetness.

Base

Amber woods sign the base. The term refers to a family of synthetic molecules, woody, dry and ambery, known for their power, and not to ambergris. They carry the intensity the house claims for this version of the line.

The vanilla, tonka bean or coffee sometimes attributed to The Most Wanted appear in no pyramid published by Azzaro. The house has kept to the same three notes since the launch, in France as in the United States.

What the label declares

Denatured alcohol, fragrance and water open the list. Two ultraviolet absorbers, octisalate and avobenzone, protect the juice from light; it contains no colorant, no antioxidant and no chelating agent, unlike the list of the first Wanted.

It names fifteen allergens that must be declared, including linalool, coumarin, limonene, hydroxycitronellal and isoeugenol, as well as benzyl benzoate and benzyl cinnamate, methyl 2-octynoate and hexyl cinnamal, which closes the list.
