Spicebomb Extreme

It was in 1992 that the Dutch designers met during their studies. They founded the fashion house Viktor & Rolf in 1993. The Atomic Bomb and Babushka collections confirmed the young designers' status as avant-garde figures. It was in 2005 that they entered perfumery with Flowerbomb. In 2012, they presented Spicebomb. Then, in 2015, the house unveiled a variation, Spicebomb Extreme.

Spicebomb Extreme, an explosive concentrate of virility

In 2012, following the success of the feminine fragrance Flowerbomb, Viktor & Rolf presented Spicebomb, the ultra-spicy masculine bomb. Between strength and softness, Spicebomb revealed a mysterious, captivating and highly charismatic man. Virile, the Spicebomb fragrance perfectly represented the men of the 2000s, seductive and self-assured. In 2015, Viktor & Rolf unveiled an olfactory variation with Spicebomb Extreme, a concentrate of virility. Spicebomb Extreme is surprising on the first note and addictive on the second. Powerful, daring and sensual, Spicebomb Extreme suggests the extreme masculinity of today's man. It must be admitted that Viktor & Rolf achieved a real feat in creating a variation even sexier, more virile and spicier than the original!

The sensual notes of Spicebomb Extreme

If Flowerbomb was a concentrate of flowers, Spicebomb Extreme is a burst of spices. Spicebomb Extreme is considered a floral-spicy fragrance, oscillating between intensity and subtlety. Spicebomb Extreme opens with fresh notes of grapefruit, quickly joined by the spicy notes of chili pepper accompanied by black pepper, lending an even sharper edge. The heart is a contrasting association of warm, spicy notes such as cinnamon, saffron and cumin with the fresh notes of lavender. Then the base of Spicebomb Extreme is sensual, virile, even animalic. It is composed of a woody-amber accord, a tobacco accord, cistus absolute as well as Bourbon vanilla. Sensuality is here at its peak. The bottle was designed like a masculine bomb ready to be pulled, echoing the codes of its predecessor. In glossy black, the grenade-shaped bottle features a golden center for the occasion, where the name of the fragrance and its creators is affixed. Wrapped around the spray nozzle, a small seal can be noticed, which need only be pulled to release the explosion of flavor.

After the surprising feminine fragrance Flowerbomb, Viktor & Rolf wanted to offer men the same bomb. Spicebomb Extreme is a variation of Spicebomb.
