L'Air du Temps à Paris chez Antoinette Poisson

L'Air du Temps à Paris chez Antoinette Poisson: Nina Ricci's 2021 new release. Perfumery draws inspiration from all kinds of different elements. Many fragrances stem from travels, encounters and defining emotions. Some are even a testament to an era. In this sense, they take on historical significance.

Yuzu, fresh and invigorating, occupies the top with pink pepper, spicy and sweet: the freshness of the former, the spicy sweetness of the latter, on two sides of the opening.

Tuberose and jasmine, both warm, share the heart, joined by ylang-ylang, powdery and reminiscent of nail polish. The shared warmth of the tuberose and jasmine contrasts with the powderiness of the ylang-ylang.

Sandalwood, velvety and woody, sits alongside musk in the base, itself animalic and woody as well: wood is their meeting point, on two different tonalities.
