The new design of the La Vie Est Belle Iris Absolu bottle
Let us begin with the first thing one notices upon seeing this perfume: its bottle. This one does not shy away from its belonging to the great Lancôme family. As proof, La Vie Est Belle Iris Absolu reclaims the iconic Crystal Smile, designed for the very first time in 1949 by Armand Petitjean and Georges Delhomme. This time, however, its curved shape is now decorated with multiple ripples. These resemble the ripple created by a drop upon contact with water. As a result, the smile is multiplied. It becomes the symbol of infinite happiness. The elegance of this visual is further heightened by the addition of a small ribbon of pearled pink organza at its neck.
Lancôme showcases noble, rigorously selected ingredients
On the scent side, refinement is also present. Indeed, La Vie Est Belle Iris Absolu by Lancôme contains only ingredients reserved for fine perfumery. Citrus and blackcurrant freshen its top notes. Iris, for its part, is here 10 times more concentrated than in the original formula of La Vie Est Belle. Yet this is one of the noblest and most expensive ingredients in the entire perfumer's palette. Lancôme therefore spared no expense! What is more, the iris in this perfume is grown and harvested in France. A touch of fig adds a gourmand warmth to this composition. Finally, Bali patchouli rounds out its sillage. Note that it, too, comes from a sustainable supply chain.
An olfactory dive into the world of Lancôme
In terms of inspiration, La Vie Est Belle Iris Absolu is a nod to the world of Lancôme. Indeed, its creation draws on the scent found in the gardens of Lancôme's Domaine de la Rose, located in Grasse. Note, moreover, that this Provençal town has been considered the world capital of perfumery since the 16th century. La Vie Est Belle Iris Absolu by Lancôme unfolds on skin an intimate, sensual feeling. This perfume delivers the image of an essential, authentic beauty. It embodies the very powerful bond uniting Lancôme and women for decades. Buoyed by these countless assets, it seems almost impossible to resist this concentrate of joy and happiness…
