Where to buy
Free-spirited, he loves extravagant prints and improbable color combinations. In 1983, he launched his first perfume, Diva, an ultra-sophisticated feminine fragrance. To celebrate its 50th anniversary, the Ungaro couture house presents La Diva, a modern diva adapted to today's world.
The unique personality of the new diva
Fifty years after the first Diva, Emanuel Ungaro decided to update it and bring it in line with current tastes. On January 26, 2016, at the Petit Palais in Paris, the brand held an anniversary party for its 50th anniversary, presenting La Diva. The new Diva displays a unique, magnetic personality. She is a free and liberated woman. Like the diva of the 1980s, today's diva is independent and casual. To represent La Diva, Emanuel Ungaro called upon the model Charlotte Free, a 22-year-old woman with a very trendy look and pastel hair. The new Diva does not shine through success tied to her looks; she shines through her natural charisma. When she appears somewhere, she is all one sees...
The dazzling fruit cocktail of La Diva
La Diva was composed by the talented Marie Salamagne. This fragrance is truly bold, even irreverent. La Diva is a ray of dazzling light that opens on a dazzling fruit cocktail blending pear and raspberry paired with a touch of pink pepper. The heart reveals a graceful floral bouquet with jasmine and gardenia. This bouquet is then joined by quince, which brings gourmand character and voluptuousness. The base of La Diva is meant to be smooth, sensual, and gourmand, composed with vanilla, patchouli, and honey. This precious nectar rests in a diamond-heart bottle shaped like a woman, that of the new Diva. Like the bottle of its predecessor, that of La Diva is adorned with a sumptuous drape and a black-and-white polka-dot bow, like a scarf tied around a young Parisian woman.
Fifty years after the famous Diva, Emanuel Ungaro presents La Diva. Updated and brought in line with current tastes, La Diva has lost none of its charm. The fruity composition is particularly bold. Still just as free and casual, La Diva draws us in, surprises us, dazzles us...
