Scandal Elixir, released in January, also had a fruity, amber tone: the house presented it as a chypre built on blackberry, iris, and patchouli. Nothing indicates, however, that Scandal Extase takes up any of those materials.
What stays out
No material from the other Scandal editions is carried over here, neither the gardenia and honey of the original nor the blackberry of Elixir: an edition can keep the line’s signature or depart from it entirely. The notes will be added when Jean Paul Gaultier publishes them.
