Invictus, a legendary Paco Rabanne fragrance seems to possess a gift: that of turning everything it touches into gold! Thus, each of its fragrances is always highly anticipated, immediately propelling itself into the top sales charts across the globe.
The composition of a legendary men's fragrance
While the impetuous billionaire of One Million still has us dreaming of its sensual fruity accords, the handsome and mighty god Invictus was released in 2013 to offer its universe of opposing forces, asserting a new virility displayed with a vehemence worthy of a Hollywood film. And yet the superman Invictus would surprise everyone by portraying an intensely masculine athlete ready to do anything to conquer the world… accompanied moreover by his beautiful goddess Olympéa, at least as sensual as he is.
Invictus Legend, contrasts between icy freshness and animalic, amber power pushed to their extreme
While the great goddess Olympéa transforms in 2019 into a version more syrupy and spicy than ever with Olympéa Legend, her hero Invictus steps out of the stadium to show his strength in the middle of the desert, at the handlebars of a metal beast, with Invictus Legend, taking us far from the iodized freshness of 2018's Invictus Aqua!
Yet Invictus had already played on its sensuality to win us over further with Invictus Intense, which championed the meeting of opposites. Indeed, Invictus Intense offered an icy face of fresh aromatic notes spiced with black pepper and calone, clashing with ultra-virile depths of ambroxan, coumarin and amber woods.
But Invictus Legend goes even further, still daring this marriage of opposites that is its strength, but this time in a register that is first green and aromatic, then gourmand and amber, and even more animalic thanks to labdanum. Thus, it will undoubtedly pair with its beautiful Olympéa Intense, which also plays on its syrupy fruity facets to seduce us.
When the scorching desert enters the fragrant composition of Invictus Legend
We do not yet know which perfumers worked on the composition of Invictus Legend, however, knowing that all the previous Invictus installments were composed by the same team, namely perfumers Anne Flipo and Dominique Ropion, we can easily imagine that this will be the case again.
Yet, while Invictus Legend retains the signature laurel leaf of the Invictus range as well as its woody depths, it presents itself very differently compared to its predecessors. Thus Invictus Legend opens with an almost electric burst of geranium notes combined with the famous aromatic freshness of laurel. Then the watery fruits and black peppers have disappeared in this Invictus Legend in favor of a note of absolute gourmand quality of honey, which lends this heart an amber, warm depth. Echoed by the ultra-virile base notes of amber woods and coumarin, the virility of this Invictus Legend is flawless, further accompanied by a spicy wind carried by the novel note of red amber.
Between earthy and woody forces, animalic sweetness, a wave of coumarin and a powerful wind of green notes, Invictus Legend seems to dominate all earthly elements to become one with its superhuman strength.
