Where to buy

Since its release, Invictus has been a fantasy for women and an ideal to reach for men. Once again, it surpasses itself and delivers a new flanker of its scent. In 2022, it becomes Invictus Platinum by Paco Rabanne.

Invictus Platinum by Paco Rabanne, symbol of the man that nothing can stop

Since its release in 2013, Invictus has embodied victory, the image of the hero. He is an unbeaten champion, whose name rhymes with invincible. No one seems able to resist this athlete. Having already received every accolade, he is galvanized by his successes. In his wake, the clamor prevails and bodies exult. In 2022, Invictus Platinum takes on a new challenge once again. It becomes a more powerful expression of its predecessors. Invictus Platinum by Paco Rabanne is an ultimate winning surge. It now aims to challenge the most high-performing. Its goal? To offer every man a fragrance to help him find motivation every day. Invictus Platinum never gives up.

Invictus Platinum, a complex and minty fragrance

Invictus Platinum by Paco Rabanne does not entirely turn its back on its membership in the great Invictus family. As proof, it is still built around a heart of lavender. However, this lavender is no longer paired with a marine accord. It leans instead toward refreshing, lively and energizing territory. With Invictus Platinum by Paco Rabanne, everything begins with an intoxicating, bitter pairing of absinthe and grapefruit. From its very first breath, Invictus Platinum by Paco Rabanne makes one's head spin. Its emblematic lavender then meets the freshness of mint. Then, the complexity of this fragrance is enriched by an ultimate woody facet. Invictus Platinum by Paco Rabanne rests on a duo of cypress and patchouli, which amplifies both its virility and its longevity.

Invictus Platinum by Paco Rabanne, a trophy-shaped bottle

Because Paco Rabanne is a complete artist, he enjoys surprising his audience as much through the scent of his fragrances as through his bottles. He does not hesitate to reappropriate everyday objects. Once again, the Invictus Platinum fragrance demonstrates his full expertise. A clear symbol, it takes the shape of a cup, proudly raised at the moment of victory. Its original blue coloring has disappeared in favor of a gray tone. Its solid base and handles give it a very ergonomic shape. Its spray, meanwhile, is directly hidden within its chrome cap. Finally, a small novelty: the wings of victory are now drawn on its front face.

Olfastory’s review

Before being a perfumer, Paco Rabanne is a prodigious couturier. Since his beginnings, he has accompanied the emancipation of men and women. He seduces with his radical modernity and does not hesitate to go beyond trends. Yet it is precisely this avant-gardism that is also found in his fragrances. Bold and irreverent, they are always highly anticipated. In 2022, Paco Rabanne decided to reinterpret one of its greatest best-sellers: Invictus. Its sillage is intensified. Here is our review of the men's fragrance Invictus Platinum by Paco Rabanne.

Jalen Green in the trophy room

2022 campaign with NBA player Jalen Green, film directed by Tino and black-and-white portraits by Greg Harris.

The face of the campaign is NBA player Jalen Green, of the Houston Rockets, aged 20 at the time of the launch. The film is directed by Airton Carmignani, known as Tino, and produced by Loveboat. It follows the episodes featuring Nick Youngquest as a sporting hero in a Greco-Roman world, and blends images of sporting legends with young athletes of today: Jalen Green appears alongside Jesse Owens and John McEnroe. The soundtrack is the track “Greatness” by Los Angeles rapper Vo Williams.

The print component, photographed by Greg Harris, shows Jalen Green in black and white in a trophy room. The campaign covers the entire Invictus range — the original Eau de Toilette, Invictus Victory and Invictus Platinum — starting in May 2022. A production portfolio reports a launch event at the Proper Hotel DTLA, in Los Angeles, from May 9 to 11, 2022, and a retail sheet cites five other young men alongside Jalen Green in the film and testimonials: footballer Ouissem Belgacem, Spanish Paralympic tennis player Daniel Caverzaschi, model and martial arts champion Soulivan Baur, Greek model Iasonas Laios and model Nicolas Pene.
