Bergamot essence

The top consists of a bergamot essence, which the house calls sparkling. It brightens the composition and, according to Burberry, balances the woody depth of the heart, like a light cast on the three cedars.

Three cedars from three mountain ranges

The heart brings together three cedar oils from three mountain ranges: Virginia’s Appalachians, the Atlas in Africa and the Himalayas in Asia. The house makes it a warm, sensual heart, the signature of the composition.

Black pepper and juniper

The base pairs black pepper with juniper, which Burberry presents as a classic British ingredient of the perfumer’s palette. The house describes this base as invigorating, carrying the confidence and complexity of the fragrance.

What the label declares

The ingredient list has twenty-one entries. After alcohol, water and fragrance come two UV filters, ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate and diethylamino hydroxybenzoyl hexyl benzoate, an antioxidant, BHT, a stabilizer and a chelating agent, disodium EDTA.

It also declares regulated allergens, including limonene, linalool, coumarin, eugenol and oakmoss extract. The juice is tinted by three colorants, CI 14700, CI 60730 and CI 19140.
