Flowerbomb Bloom

Flowerbomb Bloom, an explosive bomb of happiness! The Viktor & Rolf house could be compared to a twenty-first-century tale. The friendship between two young men who met on the benches of the academy marked the beginning of excellence.

The name Flowerbomb made its appearance in the world of feminine perfumery in 2005. More than a simple fragrance, it embodied a genuine way of seeing life. The idea was to give wings to the women who wore this essence, to invite them into dream and imagination. After its phenomenal success, Viktor & Rolf has now decided to reinterpret this fragrance. The new version of this juice is now called Flowerbomb Bloom. Somewhat different from its predecessor without turning its back on its origins, let us take a closer look at the strengths of this new essence

Olfastory’s review

The new, very harmonious fragrance of Flowerbomb Bloom

First of all, let us begin by highlighting the perfect balance and the complexity of the Flowerbomb Bloom recipe. Indeed, this juice succeeded in the bold wager of preserving the flavors of its predecessor while bringing them a strong dose of novelty. Thus, flowers, the major ingredients of this collection, are still present. Flowerbomb Bloom notably contains Damask rose, freesia, and jasmine in its heart. Nevertheless, these flavors are here accompanied by an unexpected accord of mountain air, a rather bold ingredient giving the whole more freshness. Similarly, the opening of Flowerbomb Bloom is tangier than before. It combines pomegranate and mandarin. Finally, playing on contrasts, it ends with a woody sillage giving the whole more character. Moreover, note that Flowerbomb Bloom is the work of Domitille Bertier, a perfumer who had already worked on the creation of the very first Flowerbomb.

The ever bold design of Viktor & Rolf

Likewise, all the duality of woman also shows through the bottle of Flowerbomb Bloom. It takes up the silhouette of its predecessor while elongating it slightly. Viktor & Rolf chose to present this new perfume in the shape of a grenade, a rather bold choice that only increases our fascination with this perfume. Highly crafted, this bottle is cut from glass in the manner of a diamond. Its cap, meanwhile, comes in a very elegant rose gold. Finally, a pin is fixed at its neck, inviting us to pull it as quickly as possible.

The wild advertisement for Flowerbomb Bloom

The visual of Flowerbomb Bloom is finally completed by an advertisement that is, itself, also very wild. It showcases the sublime Andreea Diaconu, face of the Viktor & Rolf campaign. She reveals herself in a dreamlike clip. Bare-shouldered and with her hair adorned with flowers, she is suddenly swept up by the magnetic wave of Flowerbomb Bloom for a most exhilarating result! Decidedly, Flowerbomb Bloom is a perfume that does not lack boldness and whose main ambition is to be talked about. After all, we expected nothing less from the iconic Viktor & Rolf duo…
