A light, springlike fragrance that exhales the favorite raw materials of the celebrated creator of the house of Dior...

Les Créations de Monsieur Dior and Forever and ever

After the many successes Dior is known for, including the fabulous and iconic J'adore, the house wished to turn back to the great fragrant names that built the reputation of its fine perfumery department. In 2009, the “Créations de Monsieur Dior” were therefore reissued within a single collection, bringing together the now cult Diorella, Dioressence, Diorissimo, Eau Fraîche and, the most recent of all, Forever and ever, released in 2001.
This new collection aims to bear witness to the same floral verve of inspiration which, ultimately, echoes the inspirations of the great couturier that Christian Dior was, gone far too soon. To the house's first legendary fragrances are added elegant, timeless, intensely floral perfumes, the signature of Parfums Dior.

Les Créations de Monsieur Dior thus offers a single shared packaging for the 5 fragrances presented together, even though they come from sometimes very different eras and trends. As a result, the candy-pink lacquered bottle adorned with rose petals from 2001 for the lovely Forever and ever is transformed into a bright square flacon emblematic of the house and rather classic.

In addition, the highly original visual for Forever and ever, showing a young woman in bloom, swept along by the pastel floral breeze surrounding her, also becomes much more classic in 2009, featuring the emblematic drawings of René Gruau brought out of the archives for this new collection.

Forever and ever, a pretty rosy floral for a springlike heart signed Dior

After daring to use bright, sparkling colors for its first bottle in 2001, as we have seen, Forever and ever loses its whimsical colors to blend into the classicism of the Créations de Monsieur Dior collection. Yet the light, swirling fragrance of its early days has lost none of its charm, even though it now conceals it more...

In the top notes, the jasmine and orange blossom facets of the beautiful freesia note offer their softness and delicacy, accompanied by the tenderness of ivy. Then, at the heart, the richness and olfactory subtlety of Indian jasmine absolute is adorned with a delightful floral ensemble mainly composed of almond blossom and rosehip (dog rose berry). The fragrant power of geranium serves to bind the base notes to this floral heart. Finally, the essence of Bulgarian rose or damascena rose, so dear to Dior, draws on the sensuality of amber and musk to wrap itself even more in a gourmand character with a touch of vanilla.

Forever and ever has had the pleasure and privilege of being updated twice by the house of Dior. While the perfumers behind the five fragrances sold in Les Créations de Monsieur Dior are different, the floral power of the perfumes remains unchanged. Forever and ever certainly owes its name to the legacy of Dior's floral expertise, still unmatched to this day. If, as Christian Dior wished, every perfume is a Dior dress, Forever and ever would seem to be a lovely, light and airy summer dress...
