Eau Sauvage Parfum is the most concentrated version of Eau Sauvage, entrusted by Dior to François Demachy in 2012 and recomposed by him in 2017. The version sold today pairs Calabrian bergamot, citron and lavender around Haitian vetiver, over a base of elemi from the Philippines that has taken the place of the 2012 myrrh.
The Eau Sauvage bottle with its 1966 lines, topped for the Parfum version with a magnetic cap, in 50 and 100 ml.
Eau Sauvage Parfum keeps the Eau Sauvage bottle, whose sober lines have changed little since 1966. For the Parfum version, Dior tops it with a magnetic cap that settles onto the spray.
It comes in 50 and 100 ml, two sizes already offered at the 2012 launch.
Marin Kristic, who has owned both versions, counts this bottle among the best ever designed and points out that it has come through half a century almost unchanged.
