Accords with the scent of Andalusia
For this perfume entirely dedicated to her, Isabelle d’Ornano wanted it to evoke Andalusia olfactively. Indeed, as a child, Isabelle d’Ornano spent a great deal of time in Seville. Eau du Soir evokes a walk, on a summer evening, through the gardens of the Alcazar in Seville. The gardens of the Alcazar have an Arabic influence, blending Renaissance accords with modern ones. The gardens of the Alcazar are unlike anything else in the world. The atmosphere of Eau du Soir is thus meant to be Mediterranean, but also soft and warm. Eau du Soir is the house of Sisley’s second perfume, and its highly original composition is particularly well structured, which earned it the award of the Perfume Academy in Madrid. Eau du Soir exudes femininity and seduction in full.
The chypre-floral accord of Eau du Soir
The composition of Eau du Soir is rich and plays on contrasts. Eau du Soir reveals subtle olfactory accords that grow increasingly powerful as the composition develops. The opening of Eau du Soir is very fresh, releasing citrus tonalities with grapefruit and mandarin. The heart is floral, elegant and sensual, combining rose absolute with jasmine, ylang-ylang and mock orange. The latter is a variety of jasmine, also known as the poet’s jasmine. The flowers move toward a chypre sillage thanks to a base combining patchouli, white musks and amber, leaving behind resolutely dazzling accords. The bottle mirrors the composition. Indeed, it should be noted that the cap is made of 18-karat gold. Chosen by Isabelle d’Ornano, this sculpture is the work of Polish artist Bronislaw Krzysztof. Since then, every year, Sisley produces a limited edition of this bottle, changing it while keeping the cap intact!
