Clarins, whose name comes from a play, was at first only a simple beauty institute. Jacques Courtin's sole motivation was to pay tribute to women, out of love and respect for their beauty. Thanks to the alliance of plants and Clarins expertise, a new eau de soin was born in 2010, Eau des Jardins.

Following the success of Eau Dynamisante, Eau Ensoleillante, and Eau Ressourçante, Eau des Jardins offers a floral fragrance whose scents recall the freshness of summer. An intoxicating fragrance and an exceptional skincare product, Eau des Jardins combines the virtues of essential oils, aromatherapy and phytotherapy. Eau des Jardins gives off light, fresh and very subtle scents. Its opening note immediately transports the wearer to the heart of a rustic garden filled with the first flowers of spring. Like all Clarins products, Eau des Jardins contains numerous plants and essential oils with exceptional benefits. Among them, beech bud extract helps hydrate the skin. There is also rowan, which enhances skin radiance, and blackcurrant bud, which fights skin aging. Eau des Jardins opens on the zesty notes of essential oils of grapefruit, lemon, bergamot and orange. These citrus notes give Eau des Jardins an unprecedented sparkle. Sweet, green blackcurrant then makes its entrance. Accompanied by laurel and mint, Eau des Jardins becomes greener and more aromatic. Rose then brings its touch of femininity. The base turns woody and musky thanks to the presence of patchouli, cedarwood, vetiver and white musks. These wrap the composition in a soft sensuality.
