A Girl in Capri, a journey between land and sea
A Girl in Capri is a perfume designed in the image of the island of Capri. It offers a vision worthy of the most beautiful postcards, inviting us along the way into daydreaming. After all, what more beautiful place than this to relax and see life on the bright side. A Girl in Capri seems to draw its inspiration from one of the most beautiful bays in the world. The turquoise blue sea rubs against rolling hills and steep cliffs. The sea coves are enchanting and offer unforgettable views. Immensely large rocks rise out of the water, while thousands of flowers run through the vegetation. Such is the image of nature that comes to mind when the scent of A Girl in Capri tickles our nostrils. As one might expect, this is a fragrance designed for spontaneous and natural women, giving off a very positive and radiant image.
A Girl in Capri, a sun-kissed composition in a luminous bottle
A Girl in Capri is a perfume that smells wonderfully of the Mediterranean and immediately awakens the senses with its citrus scent. For its recipe, Lanvin chose Primafiore lemon, a variety more intense and lively than the commonly used lemon. Bergamot nonetheless softens this raw material, while pink pepper plays on its contrasts. More pronounced, it tickles our nostrils and awakens our senses. Grapefruit blossom, in turn, heightens the femininity of the whole. A marine accord evocative of the Mediterranean then makes its entrance in the heart, relayed by a more enveloping base of driftwood. Amber then embodies all the sensuality of the Lanvin woman. Finally, A Girl in Capri leaves a purer scent floating in its sillage, given off by white musk.
A Girl in Capri comes in a simple, sun-kissed bottle. Entirely rounded, this small bottle evokes feminine softness and generosity, while making it easy to hold. Its name appears on the front in a bright pink color, a mark of its femininity. Sun-kissed yellow is ever-present throughout. Finally, a white cap sits on top, embodying on its own the purity that emanates from this fragrance.

White flowers also flood its recipe. A marine note in turn recalls the sea spray, while amber woods elevate its sillage.
Lanvin's Mediterranean imagery
Of course, Lanvin's advertisement takes us to the island of Capri. The setting is established from the very first second of the television spot, offering us a magnificent view of the harbor. Barbora Podzimkova then takes us on a discovery of this colorful and soothing island. More than ever, the face of the Lanvin campaign seems to be having a good time there, enjoying all the typically Mediterranean flavors, such as bergamot, prominently featured in this advertisement. Lanvin's campaign is a sun-kissed getaway set to the relaxing sound of composer Thierry Fauchard.
Barbora Podzimkova, Lanvin's new face
But then, who is the young woman who appears with such lightness in Lanvin's new clip? For its advertisement, the house chose the simplicity and natural quality of Barbora Podzimkova. Of Czech origin, the young woman is a rising star of fashion. It was when she was only 15 years old that she was spotted by a talent scout, in a park not far from Prague. If Cara Delevingne is her idol, Barbora Podzimkova has nothing to envy of her lifestyle. Lanvin's face proves to be very athletic. In addition to a perfectly healthy diet, she owes her figure to the intensive practice of high-level swimming. Here, however, she trades her swimsuit for a light dress, floating in the Mediterranean air. While her appearance in Lanvin's advertisement fits perfectly with her very natural everyday style, it should nonetheless be noted that Barbora Podzimkova won the prestigious title of winner of the Elite Model contest in 2014, enough to secure her worldwide recognition!
