Eau des Jardins, like a breath of fresh air For more than 50 years, the Clarins brand has brightened women's lives. Clarins was founded in 1954 by Jacques Courtin, who had just finished his medical studies.
Strengthened by the reputation of its pure and natural beauty products, the house of Clarins entered the perfume market with the now-cult Eau Dynamisante, which was such a success that the brand went on to collaborate with Mugler on the creation of Angel! Since its founding in the 1950s, the cosmetics brand Clarins has always remained true to its values of authenticity, expertise and the exclusive use of natural products. With its very first fragrant creation, Eau Dynamisante, released in 1987 and composed both as an aromatherapeutic skincare product and as a fragrance, it managed to win over a new audience that had grown weary of classic perfumery, which they found too chemical for their taste.
The runaway success of Eau Dynamisante upon its release, and for many years after (according to L'Express, a bottle is sold every 25 seconds worldwide), prompted the brand to introduce new scented waters such as Eau Ressourçante, Eau Ensoleillante, and the famous Eau des Jardins.
For Eau des Jardins, Clarins called on two talented perfumers, Sophie Labbé and Juliette Karagueuzoglou. While Juliette Karagueuzoglou is a young perfumer, she is no less talented and passionate about art, which greatly inspires her in creating her fragrances. As for Sophie Labbé, she is already the author of numerous bestsellers such as Premier Jour and Very Irresistible, which does not stop her from composing with just as much inspiration, an inspiration that often takes her back to the flowering fields of her native Charente-Maritime.
