Le Frenchy
The Guerlain Le Frenchy perfume. The house of Guerlain is one of the oldest French brands but also one of the most prestigious. It was founded in 1828, when Pierre-François Pascal Guerlain opened his first shop in Paris, at 42, rue de Rivoli.

From then on, generations succeeded one another at the helm of this prestigious brand. Over the decades, Guerlain has managed to preserve its unique know-how, and for nearly 200 years Guerlain has been the standard-bearer of French excellence. Today, Guerlain has a storefront on the most beautiful avenue in the world, the Champs-Élysées. As you will have understood, its history has always been tied to that of France, and this does not seem about to stop. So, as if to pay tribute to the Hexagon, Guerlain has this time decided to name its new perfume Le Frenchy.
The citrus and aromatic composition of the Le Frenchy perfume
Le Frenchy is a particularly fresh perfume that evokes the scent of the Eaux de Cologne of the past, highly prized by men at the beginning of the last century, but which also possesses the longevity of today's perfumes. Le Frenchy opens with a breath of verbena. This key ingredient in Guerlain's composition is paired with a very fresh citrus scent, in particular bergamot and lemon. Their zesty scent continues into the heart of this perfume through the addition of citron. Le Frenchy is also brightened with neroli and petitgrain. Lavender, the star flower of masculine perfumery, is also present. Its aromatic breath is further reinforced by the presence of sage. Finally, Le Frenchy closes with greater depth and masculinity. It is wrapped in vetiver, tonka bean and ambergris. Naturally, this composition is the work of Guerlain's official perfumer: Thierry Wasser.
All of Guerlain's soul bottled for Le Frenchy
While this perfume is indeed a brand-new fragrance, it remains no less authentic, drawing directly on Guerlain's history. Indeed, the house has always held a particular love for verbena. It had in fact named one of its earliest juices L'Eau de Verveine, in 1890. Likewise, in 1974, l'Eau de Guerlain again placed this ingredient at the heart of its composition. Guerlain has always been deeply drawn to Eaux de Cologne and possesses an extraordinary expertise in the art of their creation. It is therefore all of this know-how, this authenticity and this heritage that can be found in Le Frenchy.
The new design of Guerlain's Le Frenchy
Finally, it should be noted that for this olfactory release, Guerlain decided to treat itself to a brand-new bottle. Le Frenchy comes in an elegant cube of transparent glass. Rising skyward, it is entirely enclosed within a red wood frame. Thus, its fragrance seems to be protected like a precious nectar. The whole is at once original while remaining very streamlined. Here we have a perfect example of Guerlain's creative and authentic elegance.
