It is therefore following this philosophy that the fragrance Aqua Allegoria Nerolia Vetiver by Guerlain was crafted. A true tribute to nature, it draws its inspiration more precisely from Calabrian neroli and the Dolce Vita. At the same time, it is also a fragrance that is more respectful of resources and the environment, both in its formula and in its bottle.
The return of the historic Bee Bottle by Guerlain
Aqua Allegoria Nerolia Vetiver by Guerlain comes in a timeless bottle well known to Guerlain enthusiasts. Indeed, all the fragrances in the Aqua Allegoria collection share the same bottle. It is a modern reinterpretation of the iconic Bee Bottle by Guerlain, dating back to 1853. Originally, this bottle held the Eau de Cologne Impériale for Empress Eugénie, wife of Napoleon III. In fact, it was in crafting this legendary fragrance that Guerlain was thrust into the spotlight, going on to become one of the most sought-after houses among crowned heads. Aqua Allegoria Nerolia Vetiver by Guerlain therefore pays tribute to Guerlain’s heritage and draws on its prestigious past. From this historic bottle, it retains a finely carved honeycomb dome, playing with light. The rest of this bottle is crafted as a sort of glass cylinder, as refined as it is delicate. The whole is wrapped in a label with a sober and elegant style. Finally, a shimmering golden ball crowns the entire structure.

In 2022, Guerlain also announced major news: the house decided to reinterpret its entire Aqua Allegoria range to make it a more environmentally responsible line of fragrances. Indeed, since 2007, the house has been committed to preserving biodiversity and innovating sustainably. In order to act for the climate and reduce its carbon footprint, Guerlain therefore completely transformed its bottle. In collaboration with the company Pochet, the house of Guerlain introduced a glass case entirely made in France, from 15% recycled materials. Another distinctive feature: its spray head unscrews and allows this bottle to be refilled, using a 200 ml refill. This extends the bottle’s period of use. Note that the refills cannot be used on their own and are only compatible with the 125 ml and 75 ml bottles of Aqua Allegoria Nerolia Vetiver by Guerlain. Finally, although the fragrance Aqua Allegoria Nerolia Vetiver is made from recycled glass, this in no way diminishes its brilliance or its transparency. It is the symbol of all the craftsmanship of the house of Guerlain.
