1 Million Parfum

1 Million Parfum is the parfum version launched by Paco Rabanne in 2020, signed by Quentin Bisch and Christophe Raynaud. The house describes it as a sun-kissed leather: grapefruit in the top notes, salty tuberose, pine, cashmeran and a touch of cinnamon in the heart, leather and amber woods in the base. Quentin Bisch traces its origin to a sunscreen and a cistus sample that broke open in his leather bag.

Rabanne classifies 1 Million Parfum among sun-kissed leathers and describes it through the accord of a vivid grapefruit, a salty tuberose and a sun-warmed leather. The house says it is more centered on leather and amber than the eau de toilette.

Tuberose, pine and leather

Grapefruit opens with a citrus freshness; the heart brings together tuberose, which the house describes as salty with marine accents, pine, cashmeran and a touch of cinnamon; the base lays down a sensual leather and amber woods.

Cistus resin, a nod to the sample that broke in Quentin Bisch's bag, is among the materials announced at launch.

The notes are arranged here as follows: grapefruit in the top notes; tuberose, pine, cashmere wood and cinnamon in the heart; leather, amber woods and cistus in the base.

What the label declares

Alcohol, fragrance and water open the list, ahead of benzyl salicylate and alpha-isomethyl ionone. Two UV filters, butyl methoxydibenzoylmethane and ethylhexyl salicylate, protect the color of the fragrance, tinted by three colorants: CI 14700, CI 60730 and CI 19140.

The rest declares the allergens: limonene, coumarin, citronellol, linalool, benzyl alcohol, cinnamal, eugenol, citral, geraniol, benzyl benzoate and isoeugenol. Neither lilial nor lyral.
