Wanted

Azzaro places Wanted in the woody citrus spicy family and describes it in three moments: lemon at dawn, cardamom at its zenith, vetiver at dusk. The house adds the smooth warmth of tonka bean, which rounds out the base.

Top

Calabrian lemon opens the fragrance, lifted by Nigerian ginger, which gives it its spicy bite. As early as 2016, Azzaro described this top pairing, with a cardamom accord and a base of vetiver and tonka bean.

Heart

Guatemalan green cardamom holds the heart, paired with cade wood, a Mediterranean juniper with smoky accents. It is the material the house highlights most: it selects it with Firmenich from growers paid a fair price.

Base

Haitian vetiver and Brazilian tonka bean form the base, between dry wood and vanilla-like sweetness. The house sees in them the fragrance’s woody elegance and smooth warmth, two of the three materials it says come from sustainable sourcing.

Lavender, mint, apple, geranium and amber wood, often associated with Wanted, are absent from the pyramids Azzaro has published, both at launch and today.

What the label declares

After alcohol, fragrance and water, the list names three UV filters, ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate, avobenzone and ethylhexyl salicylate, which shield the juice from light. It also shows ten allergens that must be declared, including benzyl salicylate, citronellol, limonene and coumarin.

It ends with a chelating agent, disodium EDTA, an antioxidant, BHT, and two yellow colorants, CI 15985 and CI 19140, which give the liquid its color.
