The house does not detail a composition in three classic tiers: it describes a floral chypre accord built around magnolia, presented as the signature flower, rare in perfumery and worked to reveal its multifaceted, almost jewel-like character.

The supporting raw materials cited by the house

The house notes that the magnolia signature is extended by a vanilla described as addictive and by a white patchouli described as enveloping; these two materials frame the flower and form the amber foundation of the floral chypre claimed by Nina Ricci.

Manufacturing and the magnolia raw material

The house specifies that the magnolia fraction comes from an extraction process developed exclusively for Vénus, and places manufacturing in Grasse; the house also announces that the Eau de Parfum is vegan and composed of 90% ingredients of natural origin.

What the label declares

The INCI list released by the house lists, beyond alcohol and water, several identifiable odorant materials: Vanillin, which echoes the vanilla announced up front; Limonene and Linalool, markers of citrus and floral facets; patchouli oil (Pogostemon Cablin), which confirms the white patchouli cited by the house; Virginia cedarwood oil (Juniperus Virginiana); bergamot oil (Citrus Aurantium Bergamia), bitter orange oil (Citrus Aurantium) and lemon oil (Citrus Limon); Coumarin and Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, which contribute powdery and floral tonalities; and Hexadecanolactone, a musky-milky note not mentioned in the front-facing accord. Two colorants also appear, CI 19140 and CI 14700.

What the house does not say

Nina Ricci does not break Vénus down into top, heart and base notes; the mandarin, fig and jasmine in the notes do not appear in its discourse, which names only magnolia, vanilla and white patchouli. Vénus Eau de Parfum Florale, the summer flanker, takes a different path, with orange blossom and pineapple.
