Vénus Florale

The third installment of the Vénus collection, this 2026 eau de parfum leaves behind the chypre of its predecessors for a summery fruity floral. Pineapple opens, magnolia and orange blossom hold the heart, vanilla and moss close it out. Alexandra Monet signs all three versions, as she did the previous two. The patchouli that carried the original signature has disappeared from the formula, and the blue dye of the first two bottles has given way to red.

Nina Ricci launched Vénus in 2024 as a pillar, a contemporary goddess grounded in Robert Ricci's taste for mythology. Two years and two flankers later, the house offers a summer reading of it. Vénus de Nina Ricci Eau de Parfum Florale arrived in store on June 22, 2026, in the refillable bottles of thirty, fifty and eighty milliliters that already serve the line.

The collection holds together across three dates and three families. The 2024 eau de parfum was a floral chypre built around magnolia, softened with vanilla and white patchouli. The 2025 Intense shifted toward floral amber, with a heart of tiare flower and amber patchouli and an opening of blackcurrant liqueur. The 2026 Florale leaves both registers behind and settles into fruity floral territory. The same flower runs through all three, changing company each time.

That thread is magnolia. The house has it fractionated in Grasse through a process developed exclusively for it, so as to retain only the facets it judges the most radiant. Alexandra Monet, who signed all three installments alongside master perfumers Nathalie Lorson and Olivier Cresp, compared this work to that of a jeweler cutting a stone. The process stays the same, the flower stays the same, the reading changes.

For this version, the house foregrounds a duo: the freshness of orange blossom against the juicy flesh of pineapple. Magnolia recedes into the background, vanilla lingers, moss closes it out. Nina Ricci speaks of a resolutely summery signature and a return to essentials, vocabulary that stands in contrast with the claimed opulence of the first two installments.

The shift also reads outside the bottle. The line was fronted by Ashley Graham, in a glamorous, nocturnal register with New York overtones; it now moves to Tina Kunakey, photographed in Mexico under golden light and pink sunsets. The house is not merely revising its formula, it is relocating its setting and its time of day.

The bottle keeps the Art Deco-inspired shell silhouette that identifies the line, but trades the amber glass and brushed gold of the original for clear glass tinted a rosy beige, topped with a champagne-gold cap. The color of the juice can be glimpsed through it, where the amber tone of 2024 and the lacquered black of 2025 concealed it.

The formula is vegan and stated to be ninety percent naturally derived, manufactured in Grasse like the previous ones. Its regulatory list records the break more precisely than the press kit: the patchouli oil that featured prominently in the original and in the Intense has left the Florale, and the blue dye of the two earlier versions has given way to red. The change of direction and the change of hue are recorded in the same place.
