Vendetta Uomo is the men’s eau de parfum Valentino launched in 2026 alongside Vendetta Donna, under the name of a 1991 fragrance. Marie Salamagne, of DSM-Firmenich, built it around three materials: a CO2-extracted ginger from Peru, a cinnamon liquor accord exclusive to the house and a patchouli essence carried by woods. The house calls it woody, spicy and gourmand.
Patric Rhys (Fragrantica) sees a good fragrance, pleasant to wear but already familiar, the less interesting of the duo; Rachel Lapidos (Bustle), a darker and spicier masculine than Donna.
Olfastory’s review
Patric Rhys, Fragrantica, September 2026
On September 2, 2026, Patric Rhys advises anyone who misses Valentino Uomo, soon to disappear, to smell Vendetta Uomo: not a double, but a distant relative that keeps its woody, musky, amber masculine freshness, with an almost gourmand undertone.
He describes a cinnamon liquor that is sweet without excess, a woody spice bathed in honeyed resins and a powdery note that slips away. He judges it the less interesting of the duo, good and pleasant to wear but already familiar, and advises stocking up on Uomo instead.
Rachel Lapidos, Bustle, September 2026
On September 18, 2026, Rachel Lapidos contrasts Uomo with Donna: where the feminine bets on a creamy tuberose and a bright orange, the masculine is darker, spicier, less floral and more come-hither. She sees the duo as two sides of a single after-dark fantasy.
