To create this fragrance, the house of Valentino called upon perfumer Sophie Labbé. Among the fifty or so female perfumers in France, Sophie Labbé is one of the most renowned. She is notably the creator of the iconic fragrances Parisienne by Yves Saint-Laurent and Jasmin Noir by Bulgari. In collaboration with the IFF group, a leader in the fragrance creation market, Sophie Labbé does not hesitate to work on a multitude of projects simultaneously. Regarded by her peers as a true genius, she draws her creativity from every element around her. For her, a fragrance must tell a story to achieve excellence. And this is precisely what is found in Valentino Uomo Noir Absolu. This fragrance is in perfect harmony with the image one has of a Mediterranean man, both charismatic and virile. Its incandescent breath is not meant to go unnoticed. Thus, spices are absolutely omnipresent in this fragrance. Valentino Uomo Noir Absolu does not beat around the bush and opens straightaway with a blend of cinnamon and black pepper. Its heart, however, is meant to be creamier and softer. This relief is striking and evokes the cut stones of a patrician palace. A metal band encircles its neck and also displays its name at the center of its front face. Its former transparency has, however, given way to an opaque black in perfect harmony with the depth of its scent.
