Under the direction of Cécilia Bönström, artistic director of Zadig & Voltaire, the house had envisioned a unisex fragrance, in 2021, celebrating sharing. This was This is Us!. In 2022, barely a year after its release, history repeats itself and Zadig & Voltaire gives rise to a new derivative of its scent: This is Us! L’Eau for All. This fragrance relies first on the power of citrus, and more specifically on that of bergamot. Brought from the Canary Islands to Spain by Christopher Columbus, this fruit results from a cross between the lemon tree and the bitter orange tree. Its dark green essential oil offers a scent that is both delicious and powerful, extremely elegant. Rich in many facets, bergamot is at once tonic, fruity, green, floral, sweet and even slightly acidic and bitter.
