Donna Acqua
It is in the workshops of the Palazzo Mignanelli, in the heart of Rome, that the house of Valentino decided to settle. There, it has for many years developed a unique expertise, carrying a timeless elegance made of distinctive traits from the world of couture into that of perfumery.

Where to buy
Thus, in perfect keeping with all Valentino creations, the perfume Valentino Donna was born in 2015. A sort of DNA fragment of the house, it has become one of the most elegant and most acclaimed perfumes of our time. On the strength of this success, the Italian house did not hesitate to reinterpret it in a brand new, airier version named Valentino Donna Acqua.
Valentino Donna Acqua combines the elegance of flowers with the sweetness of almond
Because a creator worthy of the name often does not like to leave her creations to other perfumers, the house of Valentino once again turned to Sonia Constant to compose Valentino Donna Acqua. Indeed, she is already the creator of the previous Valentino Donna. A graduate of the prestigious ISIPCA perfumery school in Versailles, she draws her inspiration from her travels and encounters. Here, the least one can say is that she managed to preserve the Italian soul of Valentino while imbuing it with a certain softness. Valentino Donna Acqua has preserved the DNA of its predecessor. Indeed, it remains a luminous and wildly sensual essence. The nobility of its rose and iris of before has this time given way to more gourmand character. Thus, Valentino Donna Acqua unfolds on a soft, fruity blend of almond and pear. Flowers come to illuminate its heart. Jasmine lends it an opulent richness, while frangipani flower delivers a timeless floral facet here. Its sun-kissed aspect is then carried on by the balsamic, almond-like facet of hawthorn. This plant is finally wrapped in sandalwood for an extreme sensation of tenderness.
Valentino’s resolutely chic and Italian bottle
In terms of aesthetics, here too, the bottle of Valentino Donna Acqua is not diametrically opposed to that of its predecessor. It is simply more elongated and paler than before. Indeed, its transparent glass plays with light to reveal a more powdery color, yet still just as feminine. At the crossroads of past and present, the case of Valentino Donna Acqua clearly plays on its timelessness. Its shape is very elegant. Its surface, meanwhile, is striking. It is entirely faceted with prisms. This shape was chosen by the house of Valentino to evoke the cut stones of Italian palaces. A plate bearing the name of this new perfume adorns the visual of this bottle at its center. Its golden color perfectly echoes that of its spray pump. This perfume is nothing but a concentrate of rigor, refinement and subtlety.
