As such, Escada has, this year, gotten a bit of a head start and already reveals what its perfume for next summer will be. Get ready to welcome the new Fiesta Carioca!
The Escada tradition
Every summer since 1993, the summer perfumes from the house of Escada have become an essential event for fans of the brand. Women around the world await its fragrances with excitement, whether for their floral or fruity scent or for their colorful and playful design. Thus, the most recent releases, Born in Paradise from 2014, Turquoise Summer from 2015 and Agua Del Sol from 2016, all met with great success. It should be said that we owe the idea of creating ephemeral perfumes to the house of Escada. This concept has since been copied many times, but no brand seems to match their expertise in this area. Fiesta Carioca thus arrives as a new summer pleasure, a delight already eagerly awaited and one that seems capable of instantly sparking a longing for escape.
The new Fiesta Carioca
While Escada's summer fragrances are famous for their festive scent, they are also eagerly awaited for their design. Fiesta Carioca is thus housed in the emblematic oval bottle of the Escada collection. It resembles a sort of stylized heart, dressed in bright colors and topped with a silver cap. The whole is designed like a flower, with its glass shifting from a pink hue to a deeper green. Its front face is also decorated with flowers as well as a small cheerful bird. The whole comes in shades of pink, white and yellow, tones that are also found on its packaging. The packaging is also decorated with two young women dressed in summer attire. The whole immediately gives the urge to dance with them in the sun. On the scent side, Fiesta Carioca opens with a fruity, juicy blend of passion fruit and raspberry. The passion fruit here reveals the exotic flavor of its tangy pulp while the raspberry is softer. Then, violet leaf comes into play as if to reveal the prestige of this essence and to introduce the floral bouquet hidden at its heart. Fiesta Carioca continues with a blend of passion flower, orange blossom and jasmine. Finally, the whole ends with more depth. The resinous scent of cedar is paired with the softness of benzoin. Fiesta Carioca then lets its animalic side show through the soft, sensual longevity of musk.

Every year, we all long to see the sunny days arrive and to be able to bring out our best summer clothes. Yes, but not only that… Indeed, thanks to the house of Escada, summer is also an opportunity to wear a new perfume. Moreover, for more than 20 years, the Escada brand has been crafting perfumes in limited editions specially dedicated to the arrival of the sunny season. The year 2017 will thus be marked by celebration with a new fragrance called Fiesta Carioca. Escada has, moreover, already launched the advertisement for its new fragrance…
Escada's sun-kissed advertisement
More than ever, the advertisement for the new Fiesta Carioca from 2017 is marked by sunshine and relaxation! It takes on the look of an animated cartoon, drawing us into a particularly festive world. It all begins with sunshine radiating in a sky tinged with pink and orange. From there, our vision is projected onto a tropical beach dotted with numerous palm trees, its sky lit up by a sort of firework display. Then, a zoom takes us into the heart of this dense forest to meet a pretty hummingbird. After regaining its strength on a tropical plant, it flies off toward a party, weaving eagerly between the palm trees! And for good reason… This year, Escada celebrates the 25th anniversary of its summer fragrances! Five lovely creatures then gather on the beach in a dreamlike setting. The bottom of the screen is scattered with flowers while the horizon reveals a sumptuous sunset worthy of the most beautiful vacations! Of course, the new Fiesta Carioca bottle is in the hands of one of the guests, who proudly sprays herself with it. The whole ends with a view of the new Escada bottle matched with its particularly colorful box, which a toucan enjoys watching from a branch. Fiesta Carioca thus seems to be a concentration of happiness and exoticism.
The Fiesta Carioca perfume
More than ever, fruits and flowers have been given pride of place in this perfume. Fiesta Carioca opens with an exotic, tangy blend of raspberry and passion fruit. Violet leaf, however, comes to complete this burst of green, powdery flavors. The whole then evolves further toward more floral nuances. Fiesta Carioca has a heart built on jasmine, orange blossom and passion flower. Finally, it all closes with a woodier, deeper sillage in which benzoin, musk and cedar blend together with lightness. The whole is presented in a bottle bearing the characteristic signature of Escada's seasonal perfumes. This time it is dressed in bright colors and takes on the appearance of a flower shading from pink to green. The front face is also decorated with a small colorful bird, a nod to the pretty hummingbird from the advertisement.
