Launched in 1998, Pi is Givenchy’s men’s eau de toilette composed by Alberto Morillas, in a pyramid bottle by Serge Mansau that won a FiFi Award in 1999. The house now describes it as woody amber: mandarin and pine needles at the top, an accord called Infinium at the heart, ironwood and benzoin crystals at the base.

Serge Mansau designed a pyramid-shaped bottle for Pi, which Osmoz says pays tribute to the future and to space and which Parfumista sees as both space-age and Egyptian. Originally, the amber juice was topped with a gold metal cap.
The Fragrance Foundation France recalls that the Pi bottle received a FiFi Award in 1999, one of five prizes won by Mansau bottles, alongside Tocade, Dolce Vita, Organza and Flower by Kenzo.
For Pi Eau Fraîche, in 2001, Givenchy took up the pyramid bottle in other colors, Osmoz reports: a nearly clear blue juice and a silver cap. Pi now comes in 50 and 100 ml.
