Pi Air

Pi Air, Givenchy’s icon revisited with freshness. If mathematics and physics are not your forte, the number Pi might not evoke very fond memories. Nevertheless, Givenchy reinterpreted this fascinating number some years ago to deliver a more irrational and poetic fragrance.

Pi made its appearance within the house in 1998. Today, with the arrival of warmer days, it has been reworked into a new version fresher than before. Focus on the new Pi Air by Givenchy.

Givenchy pays tribute to explorers

Pi Air is a fragrance intended for curious men eager for new discoveries. It appeals to all those who never stop overturning established codes. Pi Air encourages self-questioning and provides the drive needed on a daily basis to fully accomplish oneself. Pi Air is a fragrance paying tribute to the knights of squaring the circle, to discoverers of new territories, to explorers of virtual spaces, to cybernauts in search of the Grail, to inventors of strong emotions, to conquerors of the impossible, to virtuosos of feeling, to hunters of truth. At once modern and timeless, it seems to pay homage to all the peoples who have pondered the mysteries of the number Pi while confronting them with today's world. Pi Air is a fragrance conceived as a challenge. It symbolizes the eternal masculine and men's thirst for knowledge.

The new freshness of Pi Air

This time, with Pi Air, Givenchy seems to have staked everything on freshness. This is suggested from the very sight of the bottle. Once gold, it has now given way to a bluish color fresher than ever. It all comes in a kind of timeless pyramid, evoking both the pyramid of Khufu and that of the Louvre. No one could truly say whether it is a sculpture from the past or a contemporary work. Playing on paradoxes, Pi Air contrasts a perfectly smooth front face with hammered rear panels. The whole then rises toward the sky in thick glass, a sign of all of Givenchy's masculinity. Finally, the bottle is topped with a highly innovative tilting push cap. It delivers a fascinating fragrance, both fresh and airy. Pi Air opens with a striking contrast between the sun-kissed radiance of frozen neroli and the fiery, spicy character of ginger. Then, a more aromatic heart takes over. It combines a note of Provence lavender with rosemary. Paradisone molecule, meanwhile, lends a more floral aspect. Finally, the whole is wrapped in benzoin. Cedar also helps make it more masculine, while musk brings more sensuality here.
