Jungle Homme

Jungle Homme: Kenzo's untamable Zebra If we were moved to encounter for the first time the powerful Jungle for women in 1996, we will be delighted to discover in 1998 a Jungle for Homme signed by Olivier Cresp, at least as strong as its tender other half!

Woody, spicy, strong in character as in stripes, Kenzo Jungle the zebra did not hesitate to explore the finest wild natural raw materials to offer men a distinguished fragrance.

Jungle Homme, or the man in search of his roots, his freedom, his raw animality

Kenzo fragrances are often the result of precious blends between the West, the East and the African continent. With Jungle pour Femme, this blending became a reality brought to life by an Asian ambassador with incandescent blond hair. With Jungle Homme, the handsome Satya Oblette, from Pondicherry, casts his blue eyes and his spiky platinum blond hair, styled into a zebra-striped mane, upon our gaze, first astonished, then amazed. This physical trait would in fact, among many other qualities, be the recipe for its incredible success.

Kenzo Jungle sought to leave a deep mark through a blend of genres but also a blend of cultures. Notably through a striking visual in which the ambassador poses, like a mighty and valiant zebra, with Kenzo Jungle as a trophy. Because the man of this Jungle Zèbre is above all a man of temperament, original, slightly ironic but above all powerful.

The zebra, the totem animal of this fragrance, was chosen by Kenzo for its independence and its taste for freedom: The zebra of KENZO's jungle is elegant, lively, untamable. It needs space and thirsts for freedom. It asserts its temperament: very masculine. Kenzo, for Kenzo Jungle Homme.

The spicy and balsamic scents of a very virile Kenzo Jungle Zèbre

The Jungle Homme bottle was cut for the jungle, for adventure. Its beveled angles are meant to be sharp, the cap is adorned with a raw zebra-striped mane cut like a warrior's headdress, and the camouflage etched directly into the glass to depict the famous zebra adds ever more character to this handsome wild creature that one dreams of taming. The fragrance with a thousand memories of the world could well be tamed, but it will never lose its spirit.

I wanted a plural scent, rich with a thousand memories and intensely minimal. To be able to switch to new tastes in the finest spice markets of the world, to taste unknown aromas and to find reassurance in the warmth of the most precious woods. Olivier Cresp, for Kenzo Jungle Zèbre.

From the top notes of Jungle pour Homme, we are surprised by fresh and tangy limetta blended, quite surprisingly, with a yerba mate note, announcing from the outset the smoky and balsamic facets of the fragrance. Then the heart, spicy and powerful like a galloping zebra, builds around powerfully wild ambrette seeds and nutmeg. Finally, Atlas cedar plays on its leathery facets, pairing with guaiac wood. These fine woody depths melt delightfully into an entrancing Siam benzoin.

Wild, sensual, and distinguished, the man of Kenzo Jungle Zèbre knows how to return to the roots of the earth in order to better escape triviality...
