Explorer Infinite

Explorer Infinite joins the Montblanc Explorer line in 2026, after Ultra Blue, Platinum and Extreme. Jordi Fernandez and Antoine Maisondieu, who composed the original Explorer, sign this reinterpretation: an opening of lemon and blackcurrant, a patchouli that carries the depth, a musky base credited with the longevity.

Where to buy

Montblanc opens the Explorer line in 2018 with an aromatic woody fragrance built around bergamot, vetiver and patchouli. The line expanded with Ultra Blue in 2021, a marine take, Platinum in 2023, a woody fougère, Extreme in 2025, a leathery woody.

Explorer Infinite is released in 2026. The house presents it as an ode to the original Explorer, whose perfumers revisit the classic to reinvent it on contrasts it describes as sharper.

Jordi Fernandez and Antoine Maisondieu, Givaudan perfumers, had signed the 2018 Explorer with Olivier Pescheux, along with its flankers. The duo returns here to a formula they know from end to end.

The eau de parfum is sold in two sizes, sixty and one hundred milliliters. It does not appear on the Montblanc store as of September 15, 2026, where the Explorer collection offers nine others, and is found in selective perfumery as well as in travel retail.

Montblanc states French manufacturing and links the perfume to what it calls its European know-how.

The advertising

The desert, at sunset

Montblanc places the Explorer man in arid landscapes, facing a horizon he contemplates at sunset.

Montblanc builds the perfume's image around a figure it calls the Explorer man, between day and the thrill of night. The house shows him crossing arid desert landscapes, in search of what has not been explored.

At sunset, this figure contemplates the vastness of the horizon. Montblanc reads into this the call of infinite discoveries and a potential for boundless exploration, from which the perfume's name draws its justification.

No credit accompanies this narrative: the house names neither an ambassador, nor a photographer, nor a director, and no outlet provides them as of September 15, 2026.
