L’Homme À la Rose is an eau de parfum by Maison Francis Kurkdjian, released in September 2020: the masculine counterpart to À la Rose, which Francis Kurkdjian presents as his free interpretation of a rose for men. A grapefruit accord and an essence of Damask rose open the composition, clary sage and amber woods extend it, and centifolia rose and cistus close it.
A bottle with a raw zinc cap, whose label bears a half-open rose, a name in green and pink, and the perfumer’s handwriting.
The house translates the codes of masculinity into the graphic design: a single half-open rose, standing vertically, adorns the sides of the carton and the back of the label, and the perfume’s name is printed in green and pink, echoing its feminine counterpart.
The cap is made of raw zinc, a symbol of strength, and the word Homme is handwritten, as the perfumer’s dedication. The glass contains at least 15% recycled material, and the carton is made of FSC-certified paperboard.
